WP 4

Objectives:

- Bring Robust design (RD) methods to industrial readiness levels, covering large number of uncertainties

- Management of large number of uncertainties, including geometrical uncertainties, in the industrial design process

- Incorporate applications to loads, aero-elasticity, CHT, aero-acoustics, combustion, in the industrial challenge test cases

Subtasks

Task 4.1: Analysis of different methodologies for uncertainty incorporation in objective/constraint formulations of the optimization process

Task 4.2: Innovative methods for robust design under uncertainties

Task 4.3: Application of Robust design methods to selected industrial relevant test cases, including general geometrical uncertainties
